Open Call – Research Engineer / Scientist

What you'll do

• Develop and test technologies that improve humanoid performance, using experimentation, benchmarking, and real-world validation.
• Turn research ideas into working prototypes or systems and identify fundamental robotics bottlenecks.
• Create credible paths for promising technologies to be integrated into scalable products and manufacturing.

What they ask for

• At least one qualifying achievement: a first-author or equivalent high-impact publication, a state-of-the-art-advancing prototype or technology, a successfully commercialized deep-technology venture, end-to-end implementation and validation of complex technical ideas, or other exceptional technical achievement.
• Exceptional technical depth in a relevant field and ability to reason across disciplines.
• Ability to independently originate, develop, and validate ambitious technical ideas.
• Strong execution, experimentation, and evidence-based decision-making in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Expertise in robotics, AI, controls, sensing, actuation, materials science, manufacturing, neuroscience, biomechanics, or a related field.
• Experience validating physical systems in real-world settings, leading technical projects, or translating research into deployable products.

Pay

$250,000 - $300, USD base salary
