Principal Software Engineer (Cloud)

What you'll do

• Lead system design and complex technical initiatives from concept through production and operations.
• Partner across teams to resolve ambiguous problems, address technical risks, and improve reliability, observability, testing, and deployment.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship while helping shape engineering standards and culture.

What they ask for

• 15+ years building and operating production-grade distributed systems.
• Proven experience leading the design and delivery of large-scale, highly available cloud-native systems.
• Strong system design expertise in distributed systems, APIs, event-driven architectures, data-intensive applications, and infrastructure scalability; experience leading complex, ambiguous cross-functional projects.
• Proficiency in one or more of Rust, Python, TypeScript, or Go; experience building on AWS, GCP, or Azure; strong communication skills and comfort with AI-assisted development tools.

Nice to have

• Experience building AI-native products or integrating LLM/agent-based systems into production.
• Background in cybersecurity, security operations, or high-sensitivity infrastructure environments.

Pay

$220K – $240K (base salary)
