About the job
Owns 8090’s accounting operations, close and financial reporting while preparing the company for audits and building scalable controls, processes and equity-administration foundations.
What you'll do
- Manage monthly, quarterly and annual close, core accounting processes, and board and investor reporting.
- Lead audit preparation and external audit coordination; design accounting policies and internal controls, and support tax filings.
- Improve finance systems and automation, including AI tools, and establish equity-administration processes with cross-functional partners.
What they ask for
- Active CPA license.
- 7+ years of accounting experience, including at least 3 years in public accounting at senior or manager level.
- 2+ years in a controllership or accounting leadership role at a high-growth or venture-backed company.
- Strong US GAAP knowledge, especially ASC 606, with hands-on month-end close and external audit leadership experience; working knowledge of ASC 718.
