About the job
Leads materials testing and structural-material degradation work to support the design, qualification, and operation of the Aalo-X reactor.
What you'll do
- Lead materials testing programs and develop property datasets, degradation models, and engineering guidance for structural metals.
- Support material and component qualification, ASME Code evaluations, safety and regulatory activities, and surveillance and irradiation programs.
- Coordinate testing with external partners and translate results into design requirements, allowable properties, and lifetime limits.

- Experience with irradiated materials and post-irradiation examination; knowledge of irradiation effects in stainless steels and other reactor structural alloys.
