Senior ServiceNow Platform Engineer

What you'll do

• Configure, maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance ServiceNow workflows, automations, integrations, and platform capabilities.
• Lead governance and delivery practices, including mentoring, design and code reviews, SOPs, backlog and ticket queue management, and SLA prioritization.
• Develop Agentic AI and self-service capabilities, maintain knowledge resources, review platform security and configuration, and report platform metrics to IT management.

What they ask for

• 7+ years of advanced ServiceNow development, including Flow Designer, IntegrationHub, APIs, OAuth, service catalog, Virtual Agent, knowledge management, scoped apps, and Glide scripting.
• 7+ years troubleshooting complex issues and root-cause analysis; 5+ years of technical leadership and governance.
• 5+ years of communication and collaboration; 3–5 years managing an Agile backlog and ticket queue against SLAs.
• 1+ years each with ServiceNow Agentic Workflow and AI Agents, Claude Cowork or Claude Code for ServiceNow development, and ServiceNow MCP Server/Client integrations; 3+ years with Hardware Asset Management, Employee Center, Now Assist, and Operations Workspace; 1+ years with Atlassian products.

Nice to have

• ServiceNow platform ownership, lead engineer, or architect experience, including roadmap planning and technical debt management; ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CAD).
• Familiarity with agentic AI and LLM tooling, governed enterprise AI assistants, advanced Atlassian administration, and enterprise security and compliance.

Pay

$141,500 — $203,500 USD (base salary)
