About the job

Own and scale the cloud infrastructure and data systems that move operational data from AeroVect’s autonomous-driving deployments into development, testing, and improvement systems.

What you'll do

  • Build data pipelines connecting on-prem systems to cloud infrastructure and integrate them into a reliable data architecture.
  • Architect AWS infrastructure and maintain CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code for deployment, data processing, and testing.
  • Develop internal automation and observability tools, improve reliability and security, and resolve infrastructure issues.

What they ask for

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of experience building cloud infrastructure and data systems for large-scale distributed systems.
  • Strong Python proficiency; hands-on experience with Kafka, Kubernetes, and gRPC.
  • Experience with AWS, CI/CD platforms, Docker, and Terraform or CloudFormation.

Nice to have

  • Experience integrating on-prem and cloud data flows, or data engineering for robotics, autonomous systems, or real-time operational data.
  • Knowledge of Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack; familiarity with networking, security, distributed-system optimization, or high-availability systems.

Tools

Python, Kafka, Kubernetes, gRPC, AWS, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, CircleCI
