Build and operate Affirm’s managed online storage platform, focusing on reliable, scalable relational and distributed SQL databases and their supporting automation and networking.
What you'll do
- Automate provisioning, failover, backups, and upgrades for distributed SQL databases; deliver zero-downtime schema and data migrations.
- Own and tune Kubernetes networking between services and storage, including connection proxies; support availability, monitoring, and on-call operations.
- Lead team goals and technical delivery, collaborate with stakeholders, and guide engineering quality and talent development.
