Build and operate Affirm’s managed online storage platform, focusing on large-scale distributed SQL databases and the automation, reliability, and networking systems that support them.
What you'll do
- Build and operate database control-plane automation for provisioning, failover, backups, and upgrades.
- Design and execute zero-downtime schema and data migrations; own Kubernetes networking between services and storage.
- Lead team delivery and reliability, collaborate across product development, and mentor engineers.
