About the job
Leads the Capacity Modeling team’s technical strategy and builds statistical models and capacity plans to help Affirm scale infrastructure safely for forecasted and peak traffic.
What you'll do
- Set the team’s technical strategy and lead critical, business-impacting projects in collaboration with product, design, analytics, and other teams.
- Develop capacity models that translate traffic forecasts into resource needs and recommended capacity settings across regions and environments.
- Own operational readiness and availability, including monitoring, on-call processes, testing, alerting, code standards, and team development.
