About the job
Designs, builds, integrates, and tests prototype electromechanical subsystems for Agility Robotics’ humanoid platforms, from analysis and CAD through assembly and experimental validation.
What you'll do
- Design durable mechanical components and custom test fixtures; support component and system validation.
- Collaborate across mechanical, electrical, software, and manufacturing teams to integrate designs, resolve issues, and participate in design reviews.
- Document design iterations, analyses, and test data; troubleshoot mechanical failures and implement corrective actions.

- BSME and 5 years of relevant industry experience, or MSME and 3 years, or PhD and 1 year.
- Experience in electromechanical system design, including familiarity with mechanisms, actuators, thermal management, sensor/electronics integration, and/or structures.
- Practical fabrication experience and a portfolio of projects.
- Proficiency in mechanical CAD software, mechanical drawings, and familiarity with GD&T; experience supporting test design, implementation, and reporting.
Nice to have
- PTC Creo preferred; Creo/Windchill experience.
- Basic understanding of robotics, control systems, or mechatronics; familiarity with robotic components, tight size or weight constraints, or basic programming skills.
