Learning Scientist

What you'll do

• Design AI-native teaching methods with engineers and build them into the product.
• Create learning-outcome measures and run studies to evaluate skill gain, retention, and transfer.
• Develop valid, reliable assessments and use evidence to guide company product decisions.

What they ask for

• Deep grounding in learning science and the experimental literature on skill acquisition and retention.
• Strong experimental-design and statistical skills.
• Human-subjects research experience in lab or field settings.
• Technical fluency to work directly with data using Python or R, and collaborate with engineers on instrumentation.

Nice to have

• PhD in learning sciences, cognitive psychology, education, or a related field — or equivalent research experience.
• Experience with intelligent tutoring systems, adaptive learning, AI-based instruction, psychometrics, or workplace learning measurement.
