About the job
Own and improve Airbyte’s accounting operations, reporting, close, and systems while gradually bringing outsourced work in-house and growing into broader leadership of the accounting function.
What you'll do
- Manage accounting operations and reporting, including the general ledger, AP/AR, close, and financial analysis, while ensuring US GAAP compliance.
- Lead and automate the month-end close; manage a Senior Accountant and outsourced accounting team, and support audits and technical accounting policies.
- Evaluate and improve accounting systems and workflows, partner across departments, and advise Finance leadership on automation and AI.
