Global Sanctions Manager

What you'll do

• Manage complex sanctions matches, investigations, escalations, and potential block-and-reject reporting; oversee first-line controls and program effectiveness.
• Partner with product and technology teams to optimize sanctions controls, screening technologies, list management, and case management systems.
• Translate sanctions and export-control developments into control updates, training, regulatory communications, and guidance; respond to external stakeholder inquiries.

What they ask for

• 7+ years of relevant experience, preferably specializing in sanctions at a fintech, payments company, or large financial institution.
• Understanding of US sanctions and economic-sanctions best practices.
• Experience operationalizing sanctions controls with technology teams, including managing sanctions lists.
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills; ability to assess complex transactions and products and work independently across a global program.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of sanctions regimes outside the US.
• Juris Doctor, relevant master’s degree, advanced certifications such as CGSS or CAMS, or experience designing, scaling, or enhancing sanctions programs and engaging external stakeholders.
