Leads Akido’s California Safety Net Service Line, overseeing programs, teams, health-plan relationships, compliance, growth, and an eight-figure P&L while remaining engaged in direct patient care.
What you'll do
- Lead regional and central service-line leaders, set operational priorities, and support staff and patient satisfaction.
- Grow programs and manage budgets, financial targets, workflows, and community-based organization partnerships.
- Lead health-plan relationships, compliance, grievances, and Corrective Action Plans (CAPs).

- 10+ years leading teams in healthcare, social services, or adjacent safety-net settings; 4+ years managing managers.
- Deep familiarity with Medi-Cal, CalAIM ECM & Community Supports, and field-based care for specified vulnerable populations.
- Ability to build scalable systems and use data to drive operational improvements.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills; familiarity with health-plan compliance and health policy; comfortable spending significant time in the field.
