Own and improve the security of Alloy’s AWS environment, partnering with engineering teams to build secure infrastructure, detect threats, and respond to incidents.
What you'll do
- Integrate security into new cloud infrastructure and lead initiatives to reduce cloud risk.
- Build and maintain CSPM and SIEM alerts, detections, dashboards, and runbooks; manage findings through remediation.
- Improve AWS permissions and network security, participate in on-call incident response, investigate root causes, and prevent recurrence.

- Hands-on AWS networking and security services experience, including VPC design, security groups, NACLs, WAF, GuardDuty, Config, Inspector, KMS, and IAM.
- Terraform infrastructure-as-code experience and working knowledge of Kubernetes or EKS; experience with a SIEM and CSPM.
- Python or TypeScript scripting/programming, on-call incident response experience, and ability to explain risk and remediation to engineers.
