About the job
Executes Alpaca’s existing enterprise risk management program by maintaining risk registers, coordinating risk owners, tracking mitigations, and preparing leadership and board reporting.
What you'll do
- Run ERM intake, maintain risk registers in Vanta, and validate risk scoring with risk owners.
- Coordinate functional risk leads, track mitigation actions and KRIs, and support local-entity risk updates.
- Produce board and leadership materials and support ERM Working Group processes.

- Roughly 5 to 10 years in operational risk, ERM, GRC, or compliance program management at a regulated financial institution.
- Experience building or running a risk register from intake through reporting.
- Hands-on GRC platform experience and ability to coordinate cross-functional stakeholders without direct authority.
- SEC/FINRA familiarity or equivalent regulated-environment experience; clear writing for executive and board materials.
