Principal Engineer, Developer Experience (DevEx)

What you'll do

• Define and coordinate DevEx strategy across Core DX and Cloud/Platform DX, avoiding fragmented or locally optimized efforts.
• Establish developer productivity metrics and guide internal developer platforms, self-service capabilities, and reliable CI/CD.
• Lead adoption of AI-enabled SDLC practices and partner with engineering, SRE, and platform teams to improve developer productivity and system reliability.

• Proven record defining and driving cross-organizational technical strategy; experience aligning multiple teams without direct authority.
• Strong experience with internal developer platforms and self-service ecosystems, productivity metrics, and CI/CD improvement at scale.
• Recent experience driving or adopting AI-enabled development workflows across the SDLC; experience with cloud-native architectures and Kubernetes-based platforms.

• EST or UK timezone for closer overlap with direct team members.
• Familiarity with progressive delivery or frontend platforms/microfrontend architectures.

$246,000 — $339,000 USD (base salary)
