Staff QE

What you'll do

• Set quality strategy, standards, and release measures; build golden datasets and automated checks for data correctness.
• Expand automation and regression coverage across data pipelines, APIs, events, and testing layers; use production signals to prioritize risk.
• Partner with developers and product leaders, apply AI to test design and triage, and coach engineers across teams.

What they ask for

• 8+ years of hands-on quality engineering experience, including setting strategy for complex backend or data platforms.
• Hands-on test automation for backend and data systems, including API and contract testing, pipeline validation, and event-driven or streaming interfaces.
• Strong skills in at least one programming language and deep test-design expertise across unit, API, and end-to-end layers.
• Experience validating data correctness at scale; strong grasp of CI/CD and release quality gates; track record using AI to speed engineering and testing.

Nice to have

• Experience with data pipelines or data-operations tooling, Playwright E2E automation, or financial, company, or reference data.
• Experience evaluating AI or LLM output; BS/MS in a relevant technical field.

Pay

$148,350 — $203,550 USD (base salary)
