About the job

Leads the architecture and development of production ML models and agentic systems that analyze global trade data and make real-time risk, classification, compliance, and enforcement decisions.

What you'll do

  • Set technical direction and build reliable systems spanning trade-data ingestion, document understanding, entity resolution, model inference, and routing.
  • Adapt and evaluate models using production outcomes and feedback; build observability, tracing, and evaluation systems to catch regressions.
  • Mentor engineers, shape ML hiring and roadmaps, and partner with product, engineering, data science, and customers to deliver capabilities.

What they ask for

  • 10+ years building and shipping production ML systems, including recent work on LLM-powered products.
  • Deep expertise in PyTorch and the modern Python ML stack; hands-on production LLM application and agentic-system experience.
  • Experience adapting or post-training LLMs for production and building rigorous evaluation suites, golden datasets, and LLM-as-judge pipelines.
  • Senior Staff-level technical leadership, including setting architecture direction across teams and mentoring engineers.

Nice to have

  • Experience with multi-agent systems, hybrid retrieval, vision-language models, multilingual NLP, or LLMOps.
  • Experience with AI safety, guardrails, or auditability in regulated or high-stakes domains.

Pay
