Designs instrumentation and complex low-voltage industrial control systems for water treatment facilities, supporting project delivery and client needs.
What you'll do
- Interpret engineering documents, contracts, and customer specifications; perform calculations and select instrumentation and equipment.
- Design control systems and supporting documentation, including control panels, schematics, I/O lists, and network architectures.
- Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and risks; support bids and collaborate with project teams and clients.
What they ask for
- Experience designing complex low-voltage industrial control systems compliant with UL and CEC.
- Experience designing control panels and selecting equipment for Class 1 Div 2 areas.
- Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or equivalent degree.
- Valid passport and driver’s license.
Nice to have
- Understanding of hydraulics, fluid mechanics, and basic water chemistry.
- Experience with PLC, HMI, and SCADA design and programming.
