Own validation of an autonomous vehicle’s glazing and closure systems, ensuring mechanisms meet durability, environmental, performance, and regulatory requirements before production.
What you'll do
- Develop test plans and oversee durability, environmental, and performance testing; analyze results and failures.
- Lead DFMEA, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions, and support test design and instrumentation.
- Coordinate validation with suppliers and cross-functional design, manufacturing, and quality teams.

- Mid- to senior-level experience in automotive closures, body, or glazing validation, with demonstrated experience in closure mechanisms.
- Reliability and durability validation experience, including data-driven failure analysis.
- Knowledge of glazing, bonding and sealing, manufacturing processes, FMVSS and regulatory requirements; proficiency with CATIA and/or SolidWorks.
Nice to have
- Component design experience in closures, glazing, or sealing systems.

Pay
USD $110,000 - 130,000 base salary
