About the job
Leads the design, development, and release of automotive underhood trim components from concept through production launch.
What you'll do
- Develop and release underhood trim components, mature designs, and define packaging, interfaces, materials, and performance requirements.
- Coordinate suppliers, tooling, testing, manufacturing readiness, vehicle integration, and launch activities.
- Maintain DFMEAs, mitigate risks, and resolve component issues involving water, debris, fit, sealing, noise, vibration, and environmental exposure.
