What you'll do

• Develop algorithms and models for NLP, speech recognition, text-to-speech, question answering, and conversational modeling.
• Research and experiment with techniques including large language models, signal processing, audio processing, and multilingual modeling.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, communicate findings, and validate AI-tool outputs.

What they ask for

• Currently enrolled in a PhD.
• Able to relocate to the internship location and available full-time (40 hours per week) for the entire internship.
• Programming experience in Python and, where applicable, C++ or Java.
• Experience in at least one listed area, such as NLP/NLU, LLMs, reinforcement learning, deep learning, speech recognition, or multimodal learning; demonstrated research depth through publications, thesis work, or equivalent contributions.

Nice to have

• Publications in top-tier peer-reviewed conferences or journals; experience designing experiments and analyzing results.
• Experience building speech or NLP systems, using modern NLP or speech toolkits, or AI-assisted development tools.

135,660.00 USD Annually (base salary)
