About the job

Build and validate C++ functional and performance models of AI accelerator SoCs to support chip design, verification, and architectural exploration.

What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain high-fidelity models of accelerator and SoC subsystems, translating architecture specifications and RTL behavior into testable models.
  • Validate models against RTL simulations, emulation, or silicon measurements and integrate them into pre-silicon verification flows.
  • Collaborate across architecture, design, verification, software, and compiler teams to assess design tradeoffs and improve modeling tools and infrastructure.

What they ask for

  • Experience programming in languages such as C/C++, Python, Java, or Perl.
  • 2+ years writing functional or performance models of hardware such as SoCs, ASICs, GPUs, CPUs, or IP blocks.
  • Familiarity with SoC, CPU, GPU, and/or ASIC architecture and micro-architecture.

Nice to have

  • Experience with SystemC or TLM-based modeling, RTL correlation, or performance modeling.
  • Familiarity with Modern C++ (20 and beyond), PyTest, GoogleTest, or multi-threaded simulation.

Pay

165,200.00 - 223,600.00 USD annually (base salary); 143,700.00 - 194,400.00 USD annually (base salary)

Tools

C/C++, Python, Java, Perl, SystemC, TLM, Modern C++ (20 and beyond), PyTest

AI focus

Model AI/ML accelerator SoCs and contribute to performance modeling and architectural exploration; no ML background is needed.
