Cleared Engineering Operations Technician, Data Center Engineering Operations

What you'll do

• Operate, inspect, and maintain mechanical, electrical, generator, and fire/life safety equipment; log routine readings and perform limited preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot facility and rack-level events, investigate equipment failures, and take repair actions within internal SLAs.
• Manage operational workflows and spare parts, support other technicians, supervise maintenance contractors, and respond to emergency calls.

What they ask for

• 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Current, active US Government Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility or above; selected candidate must be a US citizen and maintain an active clearance.
• Ability to perform the stated physical tasks, including working at heights and from ladders, walking on uneven terrain, bending or twisting, and manipulating small wires and objects.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of data center engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; knowledge of network design and low-voltage cabling is also preferred.

Pay

37.64 - 65.91 USD hourly (base salary)
