Construction Manager , AMER SE

What you'll do

• Manage construction project scope, quality, schedule, budget, and contractor/vendor work from bidding through closeout.
• Review electrical and mechanical designs, manage construction documentation, and ensure project quality and reporting.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for equipment failures and manage projects to improve data center resiliency.

What they ask for

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent engineering science, or 9 years of related construction management experience in lieu of a degree.
• 6+ years of relevant experience constructing and managing complex MEP systems in mission-critical environments.
• 4+ years of relevant experience managing general contractors and vendors, including RFPs, bidding, change orders, quality control, and RFI/submittal tracking.
• Experience carrying new design concepts through exploration, development, and into deployment or mass production; experience with MS Excel, Word, and Windows Operating Systems.

Nice to have

• Deep understanding of data center infrastructure, including electrical systems, cooling systems, and MEP architecture.
• Professional certification (PE, LEED, or CCM) and knowledge of building codes (BOCA, NFPA, NEC, OSHA).

Pay

111,300.00 - 186,100.00 USD annually (base salary)
