Construction Manager

What you'll do

• Manage construction scope, quality, schedule, and budget, including contractor bids, negotiations, execution, and closeout.
• Review electrical and mechanical designs and construction documents; oversee quality control and report project metrics.
• Manage construction projects that improve data center resiliency and lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of equipment failures.

What they ask for

• 5+ years managing large, complex construction projects involving large-scale mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) plants.
• 4 years of general contractor and vendor management experience, including proposals, bidding, change orders, quality control, and RFI/submittal tracking.
• 6 years constructing electrical engineering systems, including large-scale power distribution/generation gear, and mechanical engineering systems, including cooling systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or an equivalent engineering science; OR 9 years of related construction management experience in lieu of a degree.

Nice to have

• 5+ years of project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure.
• Knowledge of critical data center equipment, engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, standard operating procedures, or building codes and regulations.

Pay

111,300.00 - 186,100.00 USD annually (base salary)
