Controls Engineer, Amazon Data Services, Inc

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot BMS and EPMS issues, conduct root cause analysis, and support operations throughout data center lifecycles.
• Develop and manage project scopes, schedules, budgets, procurement, vendor work, and commissioning for BMS and EPMS improvements.
• Review and modify controls sequences, logic programming, and graphical user interfaces; provide on-call technical support.

What they ask for

• Knowledge of engineering documentation, electrical diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent engineering science plus 5 years of relevant controls experience, OR 10 years of relevant controls experience in lieu of a degree.
• 5+ years of industrial controls experience in a critical environment and 4+ years of project or vendor management experience associated with construction and project execution.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of critical data center equipment.
• Experience in project management in data centers or comparable critical infrastructure; experience in Data Center Engineering Operations and understanding of electrical and mechanical data center infrastructure.
