Controls Technician, Data Center Capacity Delivery

What you'll do

• Check out field devices and controllers; configure and calibrate sensors and test device communications.
• Diagnose and maintain BMS and EPMS instrumentation, support commissioning and root-cause analysis, and verify as-built drawings.
• Oversee low-voltage contractors and promote safe work practices at data center sites.

What they ask for

• High school or equivalent diploma; must meet ITAR Compliance.
• Related technical associate’s degree, trade-school certification, or other certified training plus 1+ years of relevant industrial or HVAC controls experience, or 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Basic industrial-controls knowledge and experience troubleshooting meters, devices, sensors, and relays with standard tools or diagnostic equipment.
• 1+ years working with low-voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, electrical and mechanical systems, computers, and operating systems; able to work non-standard hours, shifts, and overtime.

Nice to have

• ISA Certified Controls System Technician (CCST) Level I or higher; experience with MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS.
• 5+ years in controls/automation, construction, or a related technical field; data center or mission-critical experience is also preferred.

Pay

32.93 - 57.64 USD hourly (base salary)
