Controls Technician, Data Center Capacity Delivery

What you'll do

• Perform point-to-point checkouts, device configuration, diagnostics, calibration, and communication testing for BMS and EPMS equipment.
• Support commissioning and systems testing, supervise low-voltage contractors, and provide field-marked drawings and root-cause findings.
• Follow site safety practices and support multiple sites, including on-call, rotating shifts, and after-hours emergencies.

What they ask for

• High school or equivalent diploma; meet ITAR Compliance.
• Related technical associate’s degree, trade school certification, or other certified training plus 1+ years of relevant industrial or HVAC controls experience, OR 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Basic understanding of industrial controls, instrumentation, and troubleshooting using standard hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• 1+ years working with low-voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, electrical and mechanical systems, computers, and operating systems; able to work non-standard hours, shifts, and overtime.

Nice to have

• ISA Certified Controls System Technician (CCST) Level I or higher; experience with MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS.
• 5+ years in controls/automation, construction, or a related technical field; data center or mission-critical experience.

Pay

32.00 - 57.00 USD hourly (base salary)
