Controls Technician, Data Center Capacity Delivery

What you'll do

• Perform field-device checkout, configuration, calibration, diagnostics, and network communication testing for BMS and EPMS systems.
• Support commissioning, system-level testing, root-cause analysis, and accurate as-built documentation; supervise low-voltage contractors.
• Follow site safety practices and support multiple sites, including on-call and after-hours work when required.

What they ask for

• High school or equivalent diploma and must meet ITAR Compliance.
• Related technical associate degree, trade certification, or other certified training plus 1+ years of relevant industrial Controls or HVAC controls experience; OR 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Basic understanding of industrial controls and experience troubleshooting relevant devices and systems with standard tools or diagnostic equipment.
• 1+ years working with low-voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, electrical and mechanical systems, computers, and operating systems; able to work non-standard hours and shifts.

Nice to have

• ISA Certified Controls System Technician (CCST) Level I or higher; experience using MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS.
• 5+ years in controls/automation, construction, or a related technical field; data center or mission-critical experience.

Pay

32.00 - 57.00 USD hourly (base salary)
