Controls Technician, Data Center Capacity Delivery

What you'll do

• Perform field-device checkout, diagnostics, maintenance, sensor calibration, and network communication testing.
• Support installation, commissioning, systems testing, and root-cause analysis; supervise low-voltage contractors and update as-built drawings.
• Work across data center sites, follow safety practices, and provide on-call and after-hours support as required.

What they ask for

• High school or equivalent diploma; candidate must meet ITAR Compliance.
• Related technical associate’s degree, trade-school certification, or other certified training plus 1+ years of relevant industrial or HVAC controls experience; alternatively, 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Basic understanding of industrial controls and experience troubleshooting devices using standard hand tools and diagnostic equipment.
• 1+ years working with low-voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, electrical and mechanical systems, computers, and operating systems; ability to work non-standard hours and shifts.

Nice to have

• ISA Certified Controls System Technician (CCST) Level I or higher; experience with MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS.
• 5+ years in controls/automation, construction, or a related technical field; data center or mission-critical experience.

Pay

32.00 - 57.00 USD hourly (base salary)
