Controls Technician, Data Center Service

What you'll do

• Deploy, service, upgrade, diagnose, and maintain BMS and EPMS systems, including field devices, controllers, hardware, and programming.
• Perform point-to-point checks, commissioning and systems testing, root cause analysis, and systems documentation.
• Train facilities staff, manage projects and service agreements, and supervise contractors while following safety and change-management processes.

What they ask for

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Meet ITAR compliance; applicants must be a U.S. Person as defined by applicable law.
• Associate’s degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field with 1+ years of relevant industrial Controls or HVAC controls experience, OR 3+ years of relevant industrial or HVAC controls experience in lieu of a degree.
• Basic industrial controls knowledge and 1+ years of experience with low-voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, electrical and mechanical systems, computers, and operating systems; ability to work non-standard hours, rotations/shifts, and overtime as required.

Nice to have

• International Society of Automation (ISA) Certified Controls System Technician (CCST) Level I or higher; experience with MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS.
• Experience in data centers or mission-critical environments; 5+ years in controls/automation, construction, or a related technical field.

Pay

32.93 - 57.64 USD hourly (base salary)
