Data Center Controls Tech, Deployment

What you'll do

• Troubleshoot, maintain, configure, and calibrate BMS and EPMS hardware, programming, sensors, and communication systems.
• Perform point-to-point checks, commissioning support, root cause analysis, and systems testing; document systems and follow change-management processes.
• Mentor facilities staff, manage projects and vendor service agreements, and supervise low-voltage contractors while enforcing safety requirements.

What they ask for

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Associate’s degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field with 1+ years of relevant industrial Controls or HVAC controls experience, OR 3+ years of relevant industrial or HVAC controls experience in lieu of a degree.
• Basic understanding of industrial control systems and experience troubleshooting meters, devices, sensors, and relays using standard tools or diagnostic equipment in a listed or similar industry.
• 1+ years of experience with low-voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, electrical and mechanical systems, computers, and operating systems; ability to work non-standard hours, shifts, and overtime as required.

Nice to have

• International Society of Automation (ISA) Certified Controls System Technician (CCST) Level I or higher; experience with MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS.
• 5+ years in controls/automation, construction, or a related technical field; data center or mission-critical experience; network/cabling knowledge; prior AWS/Amazon experience; or 4+ Yr. Military Service.

Pay

32.93 - 57.64 USD hourly (base salary)
