Data Center Controls Technician

What you'll do

• Diagnose and maintain BMS/EPMS programming, hardware, controllers, networks, and field devices.
• Perform point-to-point testing, commissioning support, sensor calibration, and systems-level troubleshooting.
• Manage small to medium-sized projects, contractors, vendors, and change-management processes.

What they ask for

• High school or equivalent diploma.
• Related technical degree, trade-school certification, or other certified training plus 1+ years of relevant industrial or HVAC controls experience; alternatively, 3+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
• Basic understanding of industrial controls, devices, sensors, troubleshooting tools, and relevant systems in a listed or similar industry.
• 1+ years working with low-voltage controls, wiring, networking signals, electrical and mechanical systems, computers, and operating systems; ability to work non-standard shifts and overtime as required.

Nice to have

• A+ or CND (Certified Network Defender) or Network+ or Security+; ISA CCST Level I or higher certification.
• Experience with MQTT, BACnet, and/or MODBUS; data centers or mission-critical environments; or 5+ years in controls/automation, construction, or a related technical field.

Pay

32.93 - 57.64 USD hourly (base salary)
