Data Center Engineering Operations Technician, DCC Communities, Amazon Web Services

What you'll do

• Conduct building rounds and monitor BMS/EPMS; troubleshoot facility and rack-level events and perform rack installs or decommissioning.
• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and repairs on electrical, mechanical, and related facility equipment.
• Manage work requests and projects, document change management, and oversee contractors and vendors on site.

• 2+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
• 2+ years of electrical or mechanical experience; the posting also lists 2+ years of relevant work experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, nights, and/or weekends.
• Ability to perform stated physical tasks, including working at heights and from ladders.

• 4+ years of data center engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field; knowledge of network design, layout, and low-voltage cabling is also preferred.
