About the job
Maintains AWS data center availability by installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and repairing server and network hardware and operating systems.
What you'll do
- Install server racks; repair hardware and troubleshoot network issues, incidents, and operating systems.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders; perform on-call duties and scheduled maintenance.
- Document operational issues, improve processes, and help interview, train, and onboard team members.
What they ask for
- 2+ years of computer/server hardware troubleshooting experience, or experience related IT.
- 2+ years of computer layer 1/2 networking (including troubleshooting and repair) experience.
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, and holidays.
- Travel to or commute between data center locations as needed; temporarily work at alternative sites during training or until the assigned facility is operational.

Pay
30.00 - 54.00 USD hourly (base salary)
