Design, operate, secure, and tune large-scale databases supporting Amazon’s global physical security platform and distributed systems.
What you'll do
- Administer and monitor databases, troubleshoot failures, and support upgrades and migrations between managed and unmanaged database services.
- Gather requirements and design, develop, test, implement, support, and tune highly available data systems; advise on database architecture, performance, and scalability.
- Work with software teams and third-party vendors, and contribute to long-term database technology strategies and engineering standards.
