About the job
Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots data center hardware and cabling while following safety and security procedures.
What you'll do
- Move and install enterprise equipment; install fiber and copper cabling and patch connections between equipment.
- Perform hardware installation and break-fix work, following established procedures and safety and security standards.
- Travel between data center locations as needed, including temporary alternative sites for training or until the assigned facility is operational.
What they ask for
- At least 1 year of computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or similar technical or vocational experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations as business needs require; reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license for regional travel.
- Able to meet physical demands, including lifting up to 40 pounds and participating in group lifts for heavier items, and work in a 24/7 environment with responder rotation and after-hours support as needed.
Nice to have
