Installs, cables, and maintains hardware at AWS data centers, following safety procedures and traveling between sites as needed.
What you'll do
- Move and install enterprise equipment; install fiber and copper cabling and patch connections.
- Maintain safety and security standards during rack and cabling work; follow hardware installation and break-fix procedures.
- Use material-handling equipment and travel to data center locations, including temporary or alternative sites.
What they ask for
- 2+ years of data center, critical environment, hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or similar technical-role experience.
- 2+ years of network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment experience, including VFL, power meter, and OTDR.
- Experience with network hardware, including copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, and routers.
- Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations as business needs require, including temporary work at alternative sites.
Nice to have
