Installs, cables, and maintains data center network and hardware infrastructure while following safety and security procedures.
What you'll do
- Move and install enterprise equipment; install fiber and copper cabling and patch connections between equipment.
- Perform hardware installation procedures and break-fix work while maintaining safety and security standards.
- Use material-handling equipment and travel between data center sites as needed.
What they ask for
- Ability to travel to or commute between data center locations and temporarily work at alternative sites as needed.
- 2+ years of data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or similar technical-role experience.
- 2+ years of experience with network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR.
- Experience with network hardware, including copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, and routers.
Nice to have
