About the job
Installs, cables, tests, and maintains network and other enterprise equipment at AWS data centers, following safety and security procedures.
What you'll do
- Move and install enterprise equipment; install fiber and copper cabling and patch connections between equipment.
- Follow hardware installation and break-fix procedures, maintaining safety and security standards.
- Travel between data center locations as needed, including temporary alternative sites during training or facility development.
What they ask for
- Experience with network hardware, including copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, and routers.
- 18+ months of experience in a data center, critical environment, or similar technical role.
- 18+ months of experience with network cabling, optic types, and test equipment (VFL, power meter, OTDR, etc.).
- Current, active US Government Security Clearance of Top Secret with SCI eligibility or above; must be a US citizen and obtain and maintain TS/SCI with polygraph after starting.
