About the job
Installs, repairs, and maintains data center equipment and cabling, while following safety procedures and traveling between sites as required.
What you'll do
- Move and install enterprise equipment; install and patch fiber and copper cabling.
- Follow hardware installation, break-fix, safety, and security procedures, using material-handling equipment safely.
- Travel to data center locations, including temporary alternative sites for training or operational needs.
What they ask for
- At least 1 year of experience in computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or a similar technical or vocational role.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Reliable personal vehicle and valid driver's license for regional travel; ability to travel to or commute between data center locations as required.
- Ability to meet the stated physical requirements and participate in after-hours support and responder rotation.
Nice to have
- Industry-standard certification (CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+).
- Experience with cabling best practices, or knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
