About the job
Installs, cabling, and maintains data center hardware and infrastructure, following safety procedures and supporting break-fix work across assigned and temporary sites.
What you'll do
- Move and install enterprise equipment; install and patch fiber and copper cabling.
- Follow hardware installation and break-fix procedures while maintaining safety and security standards.
- Travel between data center locations as required and provide after-hours support as needed.
What they ask for
- 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, or similar technical or vocational experience.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for regional travel; ability to travel to or commute between data center locations and temporarily work at alternative sites.
- Ability to meet the stated physical demands, including lifting up to 40 pounds and working on feet for up to 8+ hours a day.
Nice to have
- Industry-standard certification (CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+).
- Experience with cabling infrastructure practices, network cabling, optic types, or test equipment.
Pay
27.98 - 48.99 USD hourly (base salary)
