About the job
Installs, repairs, and cabling-connects equipment in AWS data centers while maintaining safety and security standards.
What you'll do
- Move and install enterprise equipment; install and patch fiber and copper cabling.
- Follow hardware installation and break-fix procedures, using material-handling equipment safely.
- Travel between data center sites as needed and provide after-hours support through responder rotation.
What they ask for
- At least 1 year of experience in computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or similar technical or vocational roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle for regional travel.
- Able to meet the stated physical requirements and travel or commute to active data center sites, including temporary alternative-site assignments.
Nice to have
- Industry-standard certification such as CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+.
- Experience with cabling best practices, or knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
