About the job
Installs, maintains, and troubleshoots data center equipment and cabling while following safety procedures and traveling between sites as needed.
What you'll do
- Move and install enterprise equipment; install and patch fiber and copper cabling.
- Follow hardware installation and break-fix procedures, maintaining safety and security standards.
- Travel between data center locations, including temporary alternative sites for training.
What they ask for
- 2+ years of experience in data center, critical environment, computer hardware repair, infrastructure cabling, network deployment, data center operations, or similar technical roles.
- 2+ years of experience with network cabling, fiber optics, and test equipment including VFL, power meter, and OTDR.
- Experience with network hardware, including copper and optical fiber cabling, switches, and routers.
- Able to travel to or commute between data center sites and temporarily work at alternative sites as needed.
Nice to have
