About the job
Installs, moves, and maintains data center equipment and cabling while following safety, security, and established installation procedures.
What you'll do
- Move and install enterprise equipment; install and patch fiber and copper cabling.
- Follow hardware installation and break-fix procedures and maintain safety and security standards.
- Travel between data center sites as required and provide after-hours support when needed.
What they ask for
- 1+ years of Computer Hardware Repair, Infrastructure Cabling, Network Deployment, Data Center Operations, or similar technical or vocational experience.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle for regional travel; able to travel to or commute between data center locations as needed.
- Able to meet the stated physical demands, including lifting up to 40 pounds, working in cramped or elevated environments, and standing or walking for up to 8+ hours a day.
Nice to have
- Industry standard certification (CompTIA, CCENT, or Network+).
- Experience with cabling infrastructure best practices and methodologies; knowledge of network cabling, optic types, and test equipment.
Pay
27.98 - 48.99 USD hourly (base salary)
