About the job

Build and lead a preparedness lab that connects Trainium manufacturing quality and testing with datacenter deployment and fleet performance.

What you'll do

  • Own operational production performance across manufacturing, datacenter deployment, and fleet operations; build a lab that replicates datacenter conditions and validates assembly, repair, and test flows.
  • Use field failure analysis and manufacturing data to drive root-cause investigations, process improvements, and hardware design changes.
  • Build and mentor a cross-functional team and collaborate with manufacturing partners and datacenter operations.

What they ask for

  • BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • 8+ years of industry experience in Manufacturing Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality Engineering, Reliability Engineering, or Datacenter Infrastructure Engineering; 7+ years working directly with engineering teams in cross-functional environments.
  • Experience carrying design concepts through development into deployment or mass production, and experience with AI/ML acceleration systems, high-performance computing servers, or complex multi-rack systems.
  • Experience with mechanical and thermal design for air- and liquid-cooled systems; root-cause analysis; data analysis and programming with Python, Bash, Shell script, or Linux; and DFM.

Nice to have

  • Experience managing datacenter operations, advanced high-volume manufacturing, or datacenter build-outs and scaling.
  • Master’s degree in a related technical field; hands-on enterprise, sled-level, or rack-level hardware design; or experience with liquid cooling and thermal management for AI/ML workloads.
