Mechatronic Apprentice I

What you'll do

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on conveyance equipment and troubleshoot robotics, robotic work cells, and material-handling equipment.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical components, including motors, photo eyes, relays, proximity sensors, solenoids, and motor starters.
• Follow job plans, technical documents, procedures, and safety regulations while assisting with equipment installation, maintenance, and repair.

What they ask for

• Associate of Science or 4+ years of military experience; High School Diploma.
• 1+ years of PC software experience, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing operational items; knowledge of mathematics; experience with measurement reading and interpretation.
• Meet the minimum qualifying score on a Mechanical Aptitude Test; attend nine-week training, relocate after the program, and work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Experience conducting predictive and preventative maintenance procedures or troubleshooting and diagnosing material handling equipment (MHE).
• Experience implementing safety standards or reading blueprints and electrical schematics.

Pay

16.00 - 28.00 USD hourly (base pay rate plus highest available shift differential); 28.50 - 30.50 USD hourly (base pay rate plus highest available shift differential)
