Operations Engineering Field (Execution) Intern Spring and Summer 2027 (CA, CT, FL, TX)

What you'll do

• Own an intern project, analyze data, and recommend process improvements; investigate facility change requests and inspect facilities.
• Support integrated automation project design and implementation, coordinating internal teams and vendors on equipment specifications, material flow, process design, and site layout.
• Manage project budgets and contracts, support commissioning and testing, and coordinate operator training, compliance, maintenance, and safety practices.

What they ask for

• At least 18 years old and currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program, with completion anticipated between December 2027 and August 2028.
• Reside within 50 miles of the assigned location and be available on-site for 20 hours/week in Spring 2027 and 40 hours/week for 12 weeks in Summer 2027.
• Able to travel up to 80% to U.S. fulfillment centers under construction and corporate offices during summer as needed.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of Six Sigma, Lean manufacturing, transportation/logistics, or fulfillment/distribution centers; CAD layout skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office products (Excel, Project and Outlook), automation or industrial engineering projects, construction/operations, or process documentation.
